Not that I know of. That's one reason, why I do like JDBC (compared to
ODBC). It allows the 3000 to act as server or client. I myself have used
the 3000 as client to Image/SQL or Allbase databases on another machine;
I've also heard from people using it to access Oracle or MS SQL Server
from the 3000 using JDBC.

However, that fails to answer Mark's question. Sigh.
