To summarize the private and public replies about ISDN modems, here is a list
showing how many people are/were using which vendor:

3com 4
Ascend 1
USR 1

Did anybody dump their home POTS service in favor of ISDN? I presently have
a single POTS line with 3 analog phones and 1 analog internal modem. I see
that the 3com Impact IQ comes with two POTS ports each capable of handling
3 analog devices. So in theory I should be able to plug my existing POTS
wall jack (which supports the 3 analog phones) into one of the 3com POTS ports,
and plug my analog internal modem into the other 3com POTS port, correct?

I notice that 3com offers to place your ISDN order with your local telco. Did
any of you 3com users use this service, or did you place the order directly
yourself?

Thanks.
