 After the O/S upgrade, I was getting weird error messages from the prebuilt binary.  It was an assumption to just re-install and, hopefully, create a stable environment again.

  Yup and unless you know of a different place to find them that is still what they are called.

 JAZZ->FREEWARE->GNU->gcc 2.95.1 (Thread Safe g++ for MPE/iX 6.0)

 I looked there and the link for binaries points to jazz (unless I am missing something).
