you will probably need to bounce the system.

Subject: User stuck logged on

Dear all,

I have had a user stuck logged on since last Thursday. I have tried
aborting
the session and aborting everyone at osops.live but this user below still
shows as it is logged on.

The site looks pretty good except that on the join-up form, you are *forced* to
choose a US State to live in. I chose Alabama even though I live in London,
England. I do hope Alabama is a nice place <g>

Seriously though, I'm a little disappointed that the site is hosted on an NT box
with IIS/ASP. It would have been nice and very appropriate to host the site on
an HP3000 with Apache (and the MPE/iX port of perl for the scripting stuff). It
would really show everyone that the HP3000 can do all the things claimed of it
with all this e-services blurb that HP is putting out at the moment. (can't
it?)...

I found the "sponsors" of the site - Client Systems LLC of Denver Colorado. The
site advertises itself as "the first of a new generation of Internet
e-services". Looking at the site, this doesn't quite ring true IMHO. It seems to
be just like any other site - Interex.org for example; with Service Directories,
message boards and chat rooms. I can't see anything particularly innovative or
new about the concept that would justify the "new generation" tag. I think we've
probably got these things already on other sites but it's nice to see someone
putting it all together in one place.

Just my 0.01 pence worth.

PS. I think they should remove the "3kworld admin superuser" link from the main
page though. That's just *asking* for some teenage hacker to have a go <g>. And
the "3kworld Home Page" link is duplicated on that page too...

Has anyone checked out the 3kworld site? I just finished looking and was
curious what other people thought.
