Ok, I guess I'm just really slow..
I can't get get TAR to run from the CI prompt. At least not using the same
syntax. It keeps complaining about missing commas or semicolons.
I can't figure out how to specify the tape drive.
I also tried from the shell, and I discovered that I have to be logged
on as MANAGER?? How do I enable this for the normal accounts
that we use? When I tried, first it complained that /dev/dat8 was
permission denied, then after a chmod 777 /dev/dat8, it complained that
the tape was write protected even though it wasn't. I then had to
abortio the tape drive several times to get the session back. I'll
be the first to admit that I don't know anything about POSIX on
the HP, but it shouldn't be this difficult should it?
Anyway, thanks for any help you might give.
