Thanks, Joe! I was considering switching from Pegasus to MS, and now I know
better. Pegasus does the cleanup automatically whenever I close a folder (I
can turn that off if I want to for some reason).

My favourite features of Pegasus:

1) it's free (http://www.pegasus.usa.com)

2) it has great filtering: all my HP3000-L mail goes into a folder, all mail
from anyone at Allegro plays a sound (I use a different wav file for each
person), most SPAM is caught and dumped into a SPAM folder (I could
auto-delete it, but I don't get so much that I can't check it every once in a
while), etc.
