Now there is an interesting idea.
For each log type, MPE could either stream or xeq a file by name of
LOGnnnn.USREVENT.SYS if it exists.

Wow, then add other events to this, like user logging change file event,
logging
stopped event, DBnnn, for image error events.
        DB0016.USREVENT.SYS             !Dataset full
                TELL MANAGER.SYS dataset full

Oh, darn, now I need more info about the event. Maybe, if XEQ file, some
defined
way of parm passing -- PARM ANYPARM. Just document what is passed for
LOG events,
DB events, etc.

Place enabling events under user control:
        HPUSEREVENT     FALSE (default)
