On the Ruggedwriter configuration - we have used it as a plug and play
replacement for the hp2563. I don't have the details with me, but if you
know how to setup a 2563, then do the same with the Ruggedwriter and
use the same cable. As I recall, the ruggedwriter manual has a section
on how to set the dip switches for this configuration.
