Does anyone have a list of all requirements/tasks that must
be in place to enable HP3k-COBOL applications to read and
write to Oracle tables?

I have with this 3 clients ago from the COBOL applications
perspective and the PROCOB pre-compile need, etc... But I'm
not sure about what's needed system admin. and networking
wise.

I would suspect that there might be a general list of this
to check and change covering tnsnames, services.net.sys,
hosts.net.sys, PROCOB considerations, what Oracle binaries
to install and where on the 3k, ARPA needs, compile needs,
and so forth.

For example, one portion that I know needs to occur is
enabling communication from the HP to Oracle via :telnet,
or :ftp :sqlplus and open the Oracle IP - currently I'm
getting connection refused. I suspect there is a missing
network config/install task.

Thank you for your consideration.
