I'm submitting this for a friend that's been battling a DTC issue for months now.

The DTC has been replaced and even put on a separate nic, but the problem persists.

His customer has a time clock application which employees use to clock in/out. At least several times a week, the DTC does a reset and begins a download which disables the application.

From a hardware standpoint, it sounds like everything has been swapped out/moved around with no change.

I'm wondering if the application could be causing the reset via an fcontrol or fdevicecontrol due to some uninitialized data area?

Guess I could dig into termdsm to see what the reset DTC does, but thought perhaps someone here might offer some insight as to how to nail this down.

TIA,
Jack Connor
