Hard to say. DISC (Omnidex) used to do a lot of advertising and promotion
in the '80's, and I think had quite a bit of success. But in the late '80's
and early '90's, Bradmark (Superdex) offered the base version of Superdex
for free. I believe Superdex has always been much less expensive on the
whole than Omnidex.

We bought the full version of Superdex with the PowerHouse interface when
they had their "free" promotion. We use it quite extensively. The main
drawback is that there seems to be only one person from Bradmark that can
support the PowerHouse interface.

We no longer hear much that's new from either company. I've seen nothing in
the last several years that indicates either company is doing any
development or enhancement of these products. I'm sure I'll be "corrected"
by others on the list if my perceptions are "wrong" :), but that's the view
from here.
