I think its better to UPGRADE the existing box ....

If there is a new box you must have at least the same interface cards the
old one has to plug in the right cables.
Now power on the disks and CPUs ... normally the CPU boots from LDEV1 where
everything is configured ...
but there may be problems between the HPSYSTEM, HPSUSAN etc. variables ...

Basically, I think at least a INSTALL of the SYS_VOL is needed ...

Ok, this may sound like a crazy question but has anybody ever done this?
I want to take all my disk, system volume set, as well as the private
volumes and move them to another machine that has no disk.
