Assuming I understand your question, you can extact yesterday's date from
an Image database using the following Suprtool command (Straight from the
Suprtool manual):
if field = $today(-1)

Hope this is what you needed.

Hi there,
I want to create a job on MPE/iV 5.5 with SUPERTOOL. This job should
extract data from an IMAGE-Database. The problem I have is, to put the
systemdate minus one day into the SUPERTOOL  IF-statement.
Now I can do it only with an VPLUS-Form.
Can anybody help me.
