Greetings,
File -->GetExternal Date-->Link works fine in Access 97. I could open the
Linked table in Datasheet View and view the data.

However, when I upgraded to Access 2000, I always receive the same error
message "Microsoft Access Cannot open the table in Datasheet view".

I cannot create any queiries, forms, or reports with a Link Table. Is there
something I am doing wrong here? Has the Link function changed with Access?

Also I receive this error message "You cannot carry out this action at the
present time".

What's going on here?
Thanks....
