Jean,
Because Bouncer uses PM and access the system tables directly (I think
that the main one was JMAT) they put an OS version check into it. This
version check can be modified with one of the programs (memory says it
is called referee but it has been known to let me down <G>) that came
with the TECH account.
If you were running Bouncer on a pre 6.5pp2 OS then check with HP as to
what system tables changed. If JMAT was not one of them then you might
try it on a quiet machine.
Can't remember who's signature contains the following (sorry if it's not
exactly correct) but I think it applies in this case:
"The warranty on this expires as soon as you have read it. If you break
it you can keep BOTH pieces."

Subject: [HP3000-L] Any newer version of Bouncer (by Boeing)
Bouncer version 1.6 is not compatible with MPEix 6.5 powerpatch 2.
Does anyone know if there is a more current version?
Thanks,
