Subject: Apache problem??

I've been running Apache(1.2.1) successfully on our HP3000
939(formerly a 947) for over a year and just started noticing some
problems with the newer browsers.
Problem: When reading any html page from the HP3000
server, certain browsers will attempt to 'read forever', that is,
they never stop attempting to download info.
This happens on IE4( 4.72.xxxx), which eventually gives a timeout
error and Netscape Navigator 4.05 which sits and reads forever and
will sometimes give a 'Transer Interupted' message if Refresh is
hit.
Problem does not occur on Netscape 2,3 or IE3.
I'm guessing that this is an Apache on HP3000 problem, but could be
wrong. Apache on our Linux boxes(version ??) do not have this
problem.
Any ideas??
Bob.
PS. I know I should upgrade the version of Apache I'm running and
will as soon as the site it is on starts responding.
