Probably not an ideal solution, but if you have AutoRestart you might
be able to use the Mini-Dump feature to avoid the memory dump when
doing a planned shutdown... The Mini-Dump config file allows to choose
between FULLDUMP, MINIDUMP, or NULLDUMP (no dump), as far as I recall.
Might be possible to use a FULLDUMP default but switch to a NULLDUMP
before a regular shutdown (and back to FULLDUMP after the reboot). As
I said, not an ideal solution, but at least a potential workaround...
