We just bought a 500Q, 1000Q and 1500Q in January. Nice printers! The
users love them and they are in the office area.....no complaints about
noise or anything and they love the fact that they are faster than the
256x printers (plus so much quieter!).

I used the LPQ800 (superceded by the 1000Q). A very nice printer:
good
print quality and VERY quiet. We had one in an office environment, and
this
800 LPM impact printer was quieter by far than the copier next to it!

O.K. It looks like HP is back in the line printer
business with the 500P, 500Q, 1000Q, and 1500Q
models.

(They look like Printronix to me.)

Has anyone started using them? Any problems?
