   IMHO, I don't consider that a problem.  Obviously, as product
release dates get closer, the estimate will become more defined.  I
think what most people are looking for is enough information to make an
informed decision on things such as "Should I update my OS 3 months
from now, or wait until the 4th month when I get that feature I've
wanted all my life?".  In some past cases, HP has responded with the
"Microsoft style" [no flames/discussion please] time estimate, which
leaves us hanging.
