Pull Eddie! Pull Eddie! Pull!

Art "Couldn't resist Yet Again! Hehehe Bahrs"

P.S. - Once in a Past Life I did remove a lot of tape (1/2 inch variety) from a internal drive by cutting the tape with an "XACTO" *nife and using tweezers to pull the tape out as I cut it loose... needless to say it took me a couple of hours and cost the 'igiot' who caused it... a bottle of my favorite Scotch!

Subject: DLT80 drive from Autoloader

Lots of recent fun with our backup drives. I'm down to one last problem, I
hope. I had what appeared to be a tape cartridge stuck in the DLT drive. It
would not unload, nor would the rewind work. So I found the answers to
remove the physical drive and manually eject the cartridge. Which is when I
noticed that the tape was not in the cartridge, but still on the DLT reel. Now
I'm looking for info on how to remove all that tape.

All knowledgeable and/or amusing answers are welcome.
