I have multi-io interfaces on some of my HP256x printers. Currently, I'm
using the parallel side to connect to the local network via JetDirectEx.
However, I'd like to be able to switch back to the serial side(via DTC)
should the network go down for an extended period of time. I found an
article on one of the ITC resource forums which mentioned function 29. It
was set to 0. I changed it to 1 hoping this would do the trick. When I did a
seft test, the printout showed "PORT: SERIAL". I set my DTC port equal to
the printer settings abnd tried to print but had no luck.

Are there more functions I need to be concerned with? I can only find
documentation for functions 20-23. Where can I find documentation on
functions 24-29?
