IIRC the LX is a configuration/slot restricted version of the RX.  So given a choice (and no software licensing issues or HPSUSAN checking code) I'd decommission the LX system.

9x8 can run 7.5 so I might consider upgrading the OS.   5.5 PPT6 is pretty OK but 6.5 PPT(N) might be better. 

No reason the FW SCSI card wouldn't work (I think technically for disk arrays like AutoRAID 12H you need 6.x).

Add extra memory to my HP-928 LX. What is the max memory I can add.

Add another DDS-3 Tape drive to HP-928-LX. Want to configure on Ldev=8

Also I want to add 16 bit Differential Scsi Card on HP-928-LX and configure
the Storage Enclouser to expand the storage capacity.

Please advise the necessary actions
