I certainly remember attending SIGBAR at Anaheim in 1984 (though my
recollection of the content is, shall we say, 'hazy' :-), where I think
SIGPOOL (next door) might have enjoyed its nascent meeting! Of course,
Programming with Object Oriented Languages was not the only possible meaning
to the acronym!
