 I am willing to bet it has to do with the version of java.
Try an older version (remove any recent updates).

 Does anyone still use Meta-Veiw by Lund. It runs JAVA and just hangs now. I was using it last week to look at 3 days worth of data in an overview and it hung. Now when running I only get the splash screen. I shows memory usage but not CPU when looking in TASK MGR. I've tried un-installing and re-installing with no resolution. Any logfiles to look at?
