That's exactly what we do, and we've never had a moment's trouble with it.
LDEV 6, 300 and 306 are all directed to the same IP address. I've included
below our relevant SYSGEN entries and our NPCONFIG file. Devices LP, 6 and
306 are generally used for PCL printing. Device 300 is used almost
exclusively for PostScript. The actual printer is a LJ4000TN.
