Glad to see a plug for public transportation. I personally never rent a car
when going to a larger city for symposiums, etc. The only time it was ever
inconvenient was in Los Angeles. Of course, I'm from car-unfriendly Boston
where we are also terrible drivers, so I am used to using public
transportation.
