In what forum and medium? A press release? A webcast elsewhere? Some
Comdex keynote? Where do the masses go to hear the shoe drop? Got a URL
that will be pertinent to the news and current by say noon PST that day?

If the announcement(s) about MPE and the e3000 are reasonably brief (a
press release or up to say 10 minutes of spoken announcement) I think it
would be very welcome and quite appropriate for someone at HP to
(semi-)officially post either the full text or a URL with the full text of
the announcement to this mailing list ASAP after the public version of the
announcements. In fact, I can't think of any reason why any public
announcement by HP at any time which directly impacts essentially all MPE
customers shouldn't be posted to this list.
