The CMSEG "current" value is 255, per SYSGEN > MISC > SH RE.

I went ahead and made a CSLT via SYSGEN > TAPE VERBOSE and then did ISL>
UPDATE CONFIG while booting from the CSLT (alternate path), but I am still
getting the same error (TOO MANY CODE SEGMENTS - LOADERR 37). The CM
program in question has 21 segments. Why does the system still not allow
for 234 more?
TIA again for any help.

A search for CMSEGS in HP's Instant Information found the following in
"Performing System management Tasks":

"Use the RESOURCE command (abbreviated RE) to allocate system resources.
Any changes you make take effect only if you create a system load tape
and use it to update the configuration with UPDATE CONFIG or to install
the system with INSTALL."

Subject: [HP3000-L] Too Many Code Segments

Hi,
I added a couple of code segments to an already large (19 segment) CM
program, and got the following error:
TOO MANY CODE SEGMENTS (LOAD ERR 37)

I referred to some previous posts on this forum, and used SYSGEN as
follows:
sysgen> MI
misc> RE CMSEGS=255
misc> HOLD
misc> E
sysgen> KEEP
sysgen> E

We then restarted the system (cm> RS), but the error is still occurring.
Am I missing something? TIA for any help!
