Also called a crossover network cable. Just incase you can't find it by the
Hub-to-Hub name.

Use a Hub-to-Hub cable on the NIC cards and communicate with Windows 95
internal network (workgroup) software, i.e. File explorer, find, and see the
other computer.
The cable has two wires crossed to allow direct connection. This is normally
accomplished with a Hub but why pay the money if you are only connecting two
PC's

Subject: off topic: sharing data between two PCs

Hello,

I need to exchange big amount of data between two PCs both with network
adapters and modems installed, and I want to connect them directly for
better perfomance, what is the best way to do it? what protocals need to be
installed for communication? Is it possible transfer data via modems? The
operating system is Windows 95.

Thanks a lot!

William
