It was not worth it. Who are we to determine who is the leader of any
country but our own? Iraq's internal affairs were and are their business.

Glad to have you on record as making that statment.  I am sure you
think the involvement of the USA in Europe during WWII was also
wrong, since the affairs of Nazi Germany were an internal matter.
