I lived in Australia from 1974 to 1976. I was in various small towns in
Queensland. The politics were fascinating! There were two parties.
For many days before the election two large flatbed trucks were parked
in the downtown area, maybe 100 feet from each other. Two men, one in
each truck with microphones talked(loudly) for many days before the
election. Often YELLING at each other.

Many people we knew threaten to move to New Zealand if one party or the
other took office. After the election no one moved.

We should have more Australian politics.
