I have started color coding the MPE shops that use a "canned" application,
such as Ecometry, Summit, Manman, Carter^Pertaine, Amisys, Able, Open Skies,
Pact/3000, etc. I was thinking that if I was a manager of one of these
shops and I was under siege to eliminate the 3000 I could use the list to
show not only how many other companies use the box, but how many others use
the application. If you know of companies on the list that are still in
black, but use a "canned" application, please let me know the application
used and I will change their color. Also, I only have made postings about
this list to the 3000-L. So, any of you that like this concept, use a
"canned" application, belong to an application listserv, and want to spread
the word - please feel free.

Thanks for putting the list together, John. And thanks for sharing
the little story as well. By the way, is See's Candy included in the
list? I just read a pretty excellent article in the May edition of
the HP e3000 Advisor that covers See's and their e3000 experiences.

Lars.
