Wendell,

I assume what you are asking is how to set the IP address for the JetDirect
box? If so then you can configure BOOTP under INETD. When you turn on the
JetDirect box it will send out a BOOTP request. The HP will answer with the
correct information and you will be ready to go.

There is also a way to telnet to the box and configure it. I believe it has
a factory default IP address of 192.0.0.1. I'm sure someone will post the
correct address if I am wrong.
