Sorry, I need to ask better questions. ;-)  If one was writing a generic set
of callable routines that would work across all or most languages (like the
TurboImage routines or intrinsics), is there a place that documents a
procedure so one would not have to have an RL/XL for each language.  I
assume that there are some "rules-of-thumb" that says, "Always pass strings
as a reference to an array of char", etc..  I once read that you could
create your own intrinsics, while not my goal, it is the net effect I want.
