Hi

Virtually every politician in history has had an extra-marital affair, so
who cares, does it mean he was bad at his job. In Europe we could never
understand the 'big deal' with someone getting caught doing what every other
President has (probably) done before him.

Obviously being outside of the US, it's a bit unfair for me to comment on
Clinton and Bush, but I will anyway. Purely from what I see in the media (I
guess that applies to most) Bush is perceived as a buffoon and an idiot.
Where as Clinton was seen as intelligent and diplomatic. Clinton was an
excellent public speaker, which is generally important for a politician.

I can't comment on policy or his effect on the economy, but only the
impression made in the media.

--------

I fairly recently saw a movie called '13 days' about the Cuban missile
crisis and obviously only a film, so I have no idea how accurate it was, but
I was shocked by the reaction of the military representatives on both sides
desperately trying to start a war, where as JFK, as he was played, was able
to contain this and push for a peaceful resolution.

As I said only a film, but I often feel that if Bush was there the world
would have ended on day 1 of the crisis.

To a) avoid being impeached and b) exclaim "I am not a criminal".

How "dignified"!!!
