PUBLIC APOLOGY:
Mr. Andress has accused me of trying to "brow beat and mock other people's
beliefs."  Mr. Andress, I apologize to you and anyone else that took this or
any other statement of mine to be mocking anything. Mocking is the last
thing on my mind. I have a great respect for other peoples beliefs. My only
desire is that everyone should also have respect for everyone's beliefs.
I never seek to create controversy, though I admit that I do not seek avoid
it. I will attempt to be even more careful in the future to word my articles
more precisely so that no one will think I am being mean spirited. Thank you
for pointing out this shortcoming.
Again, whether you celebrate this holiday or not, I wish all of you a happy,
healthy and productive day.
