What I find curious about this scenario is that there is one manufacturer
of DLT drives in the world: Quantum. Whether you buy your drives from
IEM or HP they are Quantum drives, so I doubt this problem is isolated to
IEM's products. I would guess the problem is with TurboStore, and
maybe HP is the place to seek a solution, not IEM. By the way, we are
using DLT drives with RoadRunner without a problem.

I'm not sure I have all the facts, but my HP3000 administrator informed me
that we don't have store listings because the DLTs sold to us by IEM are
aborting the store (after it has the files written to tape). The response I
am getting is that IEM has been aware of the problem and that we don't
have
a resolution yet.

I am looking for anyone who may have a solution to this problem. I feel
that
this is completely unacceptable and that we need to have this resolved
yesterday. So your help is greatly appreciated.

TIA
