Denys,

I owe you an apology. The defintion of racism I looked up said "Racism is the
belief that people of different races differ in value, that these differences can
be measured on a ranked, hierarchical scale, and that result in the social,
political, and economic advantage of one group in relation to others." This is
what I thought. However, it went on to say "The belief that the character and
abilities of individuals are correlated with their race is not necessarily
racism, since this can be asserted without implying an inequality in value." So,
your constant expression of contempt for European people falls into the second
phrase rather than the first.

You said "I defy you to have concluded from my writing that
English was not my first language."
Nowhere in my post did I even infer that English wasn't your first language so
your resulting babble was just that.

Strangely, my lookup of the french word "Chemin" gives :
chemin (trajet; parcours) nm way (path)
Nous avons du nous frayer un chemin parmi les broussailles.
We had to clear a way through the undergrowth.
So Beauchemin could easily be "Beautiful Way".

And my remark about the name Denys was just a joke... notice the smiley?

Come on, lighten up and try not to pick on Europeans so much, we should be friends.

Cheers,

John
