You have done a GREAT job with providing all kinds of Internet capabilities
to the HP3000, Chris. My thanks and my congratulations.

Since my HP3000 computers are dedicated to Adager-oriented research (and
since I prefer to have the best firewall on them: No connection to the
Internet at all), I have chosen to do all of the Internet-related stuff for
Adager Corporation on a network of Macintoshes (including the required DNS,
of course, which is free from Apple). The whole thing runs like a charm
(and is as stable as the HP3000... which means "EXTREMELY" stable). And,
needless to say, AIMS (Apple Internet Mail Server), which is FREE from
Apple, has been MIME-compliant for years. So has been Eudora Pro for the
Macintosh.

I was actually amazed to see that there are things out there, in the
big-name PC world, that are not MIME-aware (let alone MIME-compliant).
Thanks for the information, Chris. I'm glad you are up to date regarding
the PC world :-)

In addition, since Macs don't use the standard unix, Windows or NT
interfaces, they are their own potent firewalls! There was a contest
recently about trying to break into Macs. The prize was $10,000.00 or so.
No-one was able to claim it. I don't remember the specif details, but I'm
sure Glenn Cole or another friend could dig them up for us from the bowels
of the Internet archives.

Just a friendly reminder,
