Howdy,

For the last day and a half we have been experiancing random and
rather breif periods of severe system degradation on our 987. Some
work with glancexl has shown:

A system process identified as P11 on device SYS and owned by
MANAGER.SYS will drive disc transactions for a short (15 to 30
seconds) period of time to between 140 and 160. A "normal"
heavy load on this system would be in the range of 55 to 75.
That is, this range will noticibly but not horribly afftect response
  times.

My question is what is process P11, the process name given by
glance is proc(xm_static_checkpoint_. Looks truncated to me
  but that's all I've got.

Any and all observations much appreciated.
