Just some thoughts.

I've been following this tread and find it most interesting.  Everyone has
been talking about the high cost of buying the new HDTV's, what about our
VCR's, Camcorders, DVD's ....  I'm assuming that the HDTV's will accept the
analog signal so they can be used with and without a digital signal this
will allow us to continue playing video tapes, but we won't be able to
record once digital replaces the analog.  Hopefully i'm making some wrong
assumptions and they will be pointed out.
