All that will do is not restore any file that was already restored from the
tapeset of the first system to be restored -- without regard to the
relative dates of the respective files. Unlike Windows that presents a
choice when a clash occurs.

Subject: [HP3000-L] How do you selectively restore only the most recent
files on a system.

I am restoring files from 2 different systems and want to restore only the
most recent source and compiled programs from each. The same file names
appears on both systems, but have been modified at different times. Does
anyone have an idea on how to do this. Is there a tool readily available or
some VESOFT routine.

Thank you,
