You can overcome this problem by specifying the ;OVERRIDE option - as follows:
NSCONTROL START;OVERRIDE
You could have avoided the problem by purging your NET.SYS group prior to
your 5.5 update (after first storing any of your site-specific files, such
as HOSTS.NET).
It turns out that the network services software modules prior to 5.5 do not
correspond to your post 5.5 combination and that is why you are getting this
scary message.
