Sometimes, NMMGR and other utilities "hang" PC's running Reflection -
especially when they try to read and save fkey settings.
I seem to think this is caused by a) HPTYPEAHEAD=TRUE on the HP3000, and/or
b) Typeahead set to "on" within Reflection.
Try setvar HPTYPEAHEAD=FALSE before running the utility, and if this doesn't
work, try searching your variant of Reflection for Typeahead, and set this
to off.
Good luck
Neil

Subject: Patch/iX and Reflection
Yesterday I used Patch/iX for the first time.
It worked fine from a real 700/92 terminal, but not from my PC running
Reflection for HP Version 6.0. It hangs when trying to save the current
function keys and set it's own function key strings. The Patch/iX
documentation mentions a POSIX option for Reflection, but it's not clear
what that is.
Can anyone explain or solve the problem.
TIA.
Bruce.
