I can't spend a lot of time as I'm extremely busy at the moment.

But I'll place my money that the Quiz data dictionary in the original Account may be hardcoded to that Account.

If I am correct, try this:

Rather than recompile the dictionary, (which was probably also copied to the test account) you may get around it with a file equation to the data:

FILE olddata.olgroup.oldaccount=newdata.newgroup.newaccount

Subject: [HP3000-L] PowerHouse ?

It's been 10 years plus since I've done any Cognos work and I thought I reach out and see if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I'm trying to create a test account which is a copy of a live working environment. I've copied over all the files (data and progs) and all looks fine, but when I run run quick or quiz to access the data base, I get a "data access error".

I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple (I hope)...

I've change the creator on the files to the same user with new account and can access the data via query with no probs.

I'm thinking something in the dictionary or qkgo setup?

TIA!
Jack Connor
