Shell Problems

We have intermittent problems start the shell within a job. After
'SH.HPBIN.SYS -L' we get the following error

/etc/profile xx: Resource busy, try again
/etc/profile xx: Internal error: j_close: no processes

were xx is the line number in the /etc/profile. It's not always the same
line that causes the problem. Any ideas on how to solve this???
