David,

We have two HP256X printers hooked up to a single HP Jetdirect EX print
server. Both printers operate at full capacity simultaneously On rare
occasions they will pause momentarily.

Has anyone hooked up a HP256X line printer (parallel) to a network using a
HP Jetdirect EX print server? If so, how was the printers throughput
affected. This is for a remote warehouse and I would hate to slow down a
high speed line printer by limiting it to a serial connection at 19,200.

Thanks
