These enhancements would be useful, and in our case would not break any
existing applications.  I have no comment on these, as written, but I would
like to request one additional enhancement -- a SITE BUILD command.  In our
multi-platform environment, it seems very difficult to implement a new
heterogeneous ftp application from a non-MPE box to one of our MPE systems.
Build parms {;rec=...} cannot usually be successfully included in a PUT
from a Unix or MVS system, so we end up with the foreign application
sending us a trigger file after which we fire up the ftp task on our side
to GET the file.
