Not a problem as long as you have a free slot or open 28696A fast wide
card.

I believe you need to be on MPE/iX 6.0 or 6.5 (7/7.5 not an option on
the 9X7s) to go with a DLT8000.  I'm sure a DLT4000 and probably a
DLT7000 are OK on 5.5; can anyone else confirm?

Does anyone know if a DLT drive can be installed on a HP3000 927LX?
Looking for information on software that it needs and configuration.
