Friends,
I was notified today to find a buyer for our HP3000. Our main
software vendor is no longer going to be using MPE as of 5/1/03.
They are moving all their sofware to windows. The powers that be
here decided that it's best to follow them.
I had alot of fun learning what little I know from the list,
and from working on the hp. Personally I don't agree with the
decision but like a good little soldger I must follow orders.
If they want to sacrifice uptime, security, and reliabillity
for a few bucks, I can't stop them. I tried to no avail. I'm
happy I put it off this long. They wanted to scrap it as I was
taking of this position 7 months ago.
So in short if anyone is looking for a system, here are the
specs. Mail me off list if you are looking or want more
information...
